WFSB’s sister station, WWAX, has signed a deal with another Connecticut college to produce local sports programming.
The station has agreed to re-broadcast select games from the full schedule of Sacred Heart University athletics. You may remember the Gray television station announced an agreement to produce sports programming featuring the University of Connecticut back in July.
General Manager Dana Neves is signaling local sports is part of the long term strategy for WWAX. “We are building a…station to highlight Connecticut’s universities, athletes, and students.”
