From MaryEllen Fillo’s JAVA column:
“Get ready. It’s time to do the WCCC-FM (106.9) shuffle.
Now that on-air personality Sebastian (Joe Schlosser) and the crew of the “Sebastian in the Morning” show have been laid off, management has come up with a way to cover the air time with fewer people but still do it live.
Beginning this week , program director Mike Picozzi goes from afternoons to mornings, taking along “Holden” from his afternoon show “Picozzi, Klonk and Holden.” Rounding out the morning trio will be Mary Scanlon, who was one of Sebastian’s sidekicks and whose layoff lasted just a bit over a week.
So that leaves the afternoons, where “Klonk” will anchor her own show from 3 to 7 p.m.
Picozzi would only say that the call announcing he changes came from his “non-corporate” bosses and that getting up at 4:30 a.m. to do the 6-to-10 a.m. show ‘will be fun.'”
Sebastian was the BEST> Bring him back. The ride to work is not the same.
