John Elliott of WTIC-FM is retiring after 40 years at the station. The announcement was made live on Craig & Company. We learned from the on-air conversation that John is the longest-running news anchor in CT history (we’re sure if there’s disagreement on that we’ll hear from some of you). John, a lifelong resident of Wethersfield, plans to take his last turn at the microphone this summer.
