Once again, Dennis House turns in a great round up of WFSB/WTIC-TV history for his Hartfordite blog.
As Laurel readers know, WFSB is about to unveil a new set, giving Dennis a reason to rummage through the archives for video and screen shots of how the station’s look has evolved over the years.
My personal favorite didn’t make House’s excellent edit. Bruce Kern worked for WTIC radio and TV back in the ’60’s. Some years back Gerry Brooks seemed to channel Kern for a black and white news special he produced for an earlier WFSB anniversary. Back then, Brooks had the mustache for it!
