This weekend’s Hartford Magazine featured an interesting and inspiring profile by Duo Dickinson on the new home built in Hartford’s Asylum Hill neighborhood by WNPR’s Chion Wolf and her fiancee, Emily Petersen. The indefatigable Wolf is probably best known as the producer of the Colin McEnroe Show on WNPR, but she is also a founding member of the Hartford Hot Several marching band, and she hosts monthly live shows at Hartford’s Mark Twain House (“The Mouth Off“) and Sea Tea Improv (“Asking for a Friend“), among many other ventures. It’s only fitting then that Wolf and Petersen would choose to build their home in Hartford, and equally fitting that they and their beautiful, new Victorian home should be featured in Hartford Magazine.
Wolf said of her and Petersen’s choice to build in the city they love, “It was like we got married to Hartford.” Congratulations on their commitment to the city and best wishes for their own nuptials, planned for October 2020.
