When Rachel Maddow stepped back from hosting five nights a week on MSNBC it seemed likely that for one reason or another it would only be a matter of time before she was back.
And now that’s the case. The network has announced Maddow will resume hosting the 9p.m. hour Monday through Friday for at least the first 100 days of the Trump administration.
Tuesday through Friday host Alex Wagner is taking on a new special assignment for that same 100 days as a field reporter in what the network is calling “Trumpland.” Wagner will call on her experience as a political reporter and editor and as a co-host of Showtime’s The Circus.
