The legacy radio station WTIC-AM in Hartford – the “50,000 Watt Pulse of New England” – will turn 100 next year. February 10, 2025 to be exact.
As part of the run-up to the anniversary Morgan Cunningham, the station’s current morning drive news anchor, will be hosting a monthly series called “The Broadcaster at 100.” It will air on the show known as Spotlight CT on the last Saturday of each month at 2p.m.
