WTNH announced on its noon newscast that it is opening a Fairfield County bureau at the newsroom of the Connecticut Post. From a WTNH news release:
WTNH News 8 will now have a reporter and photographer based in Bridgeport, the state’s largest city. The two organizations will share news resources, but will remain independent news reporting organizations. The Connecticut Post will now have access to the multitude of monthly Report It submissions News 8 receives from viewers around the state. The partnership will be more visible online, where the Connecticut Post website www.ctpost.com and the News 8 website www.wtnh.com, will have links between the two, to share news, video and weather content for users.
