Perhaps while you were sleeping, WCBS Newsradio 88 in New York City signed off for the last time at 12:01a.m. ET.
After more than 50 years the station’s owner, Audacy, has decided to lease the station’s signal to Good Karma Brands. As of Monday morning the station is known as ESPN New York. It will continue to be the broadcast home of the New York Metropolitans(Mets).
Audacy is encouraging news hounds to switch over to 1010 WINS which is simulcast at 92.3FM. Those seeking the WCBS website are re-directed to 1010 WINS.
